not nearly as bad, but at the time I found it very rude and actually embarassing to witness....while I was in Bali a couple of weeks ago I went into a DVD shop. They had the usual "SALE" sign at the front with the 10x for 100 000 rp and 3 free deal. An Aussie guy came in and proceeded to argue that this was false advertising, not a sale as every shop offered the same thing. He told the shopkeeper if it was a real sale then the price should be 90 000 for 10 plus 3 free. I was gobsmacked that someone was prepared to argue over what amounted to about $1.50, especially as he was getting 13 DVDs or CDs for less than he would pay for one new item here!
