i'm a bead & jewellery inporter & never been stoped or asked for any thing I carry it all in my hand luggage about 20 kg worth LOL
but I also have all my invoices with me
I think if they ever asked me i first ask to see the paper work stating this then insist on a recite if they continued ... I was once pulled up for having to much shopping & got some mager guy with big guns asking me why I had so much I told him I was a importer & showed my invoices then i told him if he was going to make my life hard i'd go to tieland to shop instead ... he said no don't do that and carried my bags to check in & i got no exess charges LOL
mostly they are calling your bluff so you have to play the same game by being not scaired but also not rude
