Well as we now know we all where at the Dynasty last week, and im not having a go at anyone, but from what I saw and the people I talked to they wern't impressed about The kids club or the expense of food and drinks.
From my experiance, most hotels you stay at will offer the same serves, ie: Drinks to your bananna lounge or food to your table a sometime Higher standered of food far cheaper., and i belive that Yes the Dynasty was expensive, and I think it has nothing to do with the service, I think it has everything to do with the marketing and the flow of tourist that regularly go back that is why the price is so high, as we where also there for 3 weeks and 2 of those weeks we stayed in Sanur Paradise Plaza Hotel ( Same hotel chain as Dynasty )we found that we could have the exsact same service and quality of food as offered by the Dynasty but with cheaper menu's and belive it or not some nights the same Chefs doing rotating shifts. I think it comes down also to where you like to stay we prefer Sanur, but after reading good reports about the Dynasty we decided to try it, unfortunetly we did not enjoy the hotel, but the people we met will be our friends for life.
I really like the guys and girls working at the Kids Club and made some great friends, yes I agree there is some rather crappy children not mine and yes I belive there is some responsibility with the parents, But that is why most days we where at the pool watching them, but for the 2 days that we weren't there, we signed them into the kids club, leaving the responsiblity to the Dynasty staff. but I belive that 2 - 3 staff members for 20-30 kids is not enough, as we advised the general Manager. When we came back from our shopping we found our children swimming in the adult pool with NO supervision.
Now don't get me wrong, there is alot of children and alot of adults, we are just very over protected parents, and as most parnets love our childen dearly and would want nothing to happen to them.
The child that fisho girl spoke of, was missing actually for 2 hours. I will let your imagination run with what the father was thinking.
In the end if you feel comftable with leaving your children with any Kids club, do so, i know I leave mine at Camp Splash, and have never had a problem. But I personally wouldn't leave mine in the Dynasty kids club unless I was there to supervise.
Sorry in advance if I have upset some forumites, but that is how I feel.
