we have been staying here at the Dynasty for the last three weeks and have not had a problem like that at all. Jordy has been in the kids club on more than one occasion and certainly havent been able to fault them. Maybe it has more to do with the children than with the supervision, not having a go at you or anyone else, but from what i can gather those girls and guys in there, certainly put up with some sh'''itty kids, I personally would send them straight back to their parents, but then, the balinese arent like that are they!!!
As for the food, yes it is a little on the expensive side, but then you are getting a higher standard of food plus service, than you would get outside, I guess in the end thats what you pay for, yes the drinks are a little on the expensive side but again, you are paying for a service ie. sitting around the pool having them brough to you etc etc, it all comes down to what you want from the experience.
As for the rooms, yes, I would say some are in need of work, and ours was one of them, so we were upgraded free of charge to an executive suite which was lovely, but we declined and asked for another room like the one we were in, no problems at all!!
As far as customer service, they are superior to alot of places I have stayed and would highly recommend them.
I do have to say though, it seems from the people I have met at the Dynasty in our three weeks there, that there is a lot of dissatisfaction from the aussies with bali in general, not just the dynasty hotel but everywhere. They are saying things are too expensive generally, but hell, what are they supposed to do, times are tough, petrol is double what it used to be, but as far as we are concerned or so it would seem, they are just supposed to keep everything the same so we can have good cheap holiday...I dont think so.
Heard from Pam you had a great time catching up with all your bali friends, hope they were happy to see you too!!!! See you on the forum sometime.
