I have been on the bike ride from Kintamani back down to Ubud, a couple of times. Its a easy ride as its almost all downhill. You stop every so often to look at the rice paddies, temple, banyon tree, mat making, etc, just to have a drink or whatever. You also go into the spice plantation and get to see many spices and fruit plants/trees growing.
I have found it very interesting.
