The cancelled flight has nothing to do with the hotel booking...you're kidding yourself.... facts are Hotel booking get stuffed up in Bali all the time cancelled flights or not
How long you saved and your lost day is of no concern to the airline...you will find the airlines take no responsibility for cancelled flights,... other than they may provide meal vouchers or alternative travel arrangements or in some case transport to hotel accommodation at their expence if the flight delayed overnight..
As for your medical bills if your injury happened while overseas, your travel insurance company should be contacted to see what coverage you've got..
