So who exactly who pays

for the extra nights accomodation/food /drinks etc & transport to your original accomodation since it was Garuda who have stuffed up or changed the plans that you had originally booked & fully paid for ?

I can understand it is an inconvenience but at least you have an extra night unlike many others who have made plans & have been cut short at the last minute & they have missed out on 1 nights accomodation that they have already paid for.
Gee - hate to say it but I will be really complaining if we have to stay an extra night at either end of our holiday at Garuda's expense.Oh - my heart will be breaking <LOL>
