Assuming you will be leaving from the kuta / legian area, the price isnt unreasonable as it would be a long day and with the increase in fuel costs 350k - 400k is probably around the mark.

However if you wanted to go to Tanah Lot for the sunset, I think you would be pushing it to get there before the sun went down.

The drive to Git Git if you dont stop elsewhere along the way is about 2 hours [roughly]. It used to be a bit of a walk to the waterfall too, but dont know what it is like now. [I am talking when it was a dirt track back in the early 80's].

From Git Git to Lovina and the hot springs would be at least another 30 minutes on. I would imagine you would want to stop off for lunch somewhere around Lovina too.

Tanah Lot is about 40 minutes drive on from the Seminyak area, to be honest I would do this as a separate trip one afternoon and hope for a good sunset. There are a lot of market stalls leading down to the actual temple area and if you are going to stop and have a look around you could easily kill 2 hours down there, including watching the sunset on top of the cliff with a nice cold Bintang.

Hope this is of some help to you.

Maybe if you do the Candi Kuning markets on the way up and stop into Crackers Bar for a cold drink and toilet break, you could then also stop off at Lake Bratan before going to the waterfall and the hot springs. It would be a long day but enjoyable if you havent seen these sights before...cheers :-)
