We are off to Candi on June 8th and can't wait. Will spend 3 weeks there at the Bali Shangrila where we have timeshare. Its a great little hotel with amazing staff.
We agree that Vincent's had the best meal we had in Bali - highly recommended but its good to also support the other businesses on the main strip.
The people in Candi are lovely - you feel you are getting a more cultural experience in Candi as you are so close to the villages and get to know the Balinese people living nearby.
Make sure you take a day trip to White Sands beach, not too far up the coast. It is the most beautiful, almost secluded beach I've ever visited. The snorkeling is just amzing.
Its a great relaxing place and we are very grateful to have found such a great place. Enjoy and let us know how you go.
