Going again in June and have decided to spend a few days relaxing, walking & eating in Candidasa. We have booked Rama, realise it's some way out but we don't mind at all.
Has anybody stayed here recently, what are the Deluxe Garden Cottages like. Candidasa itself are there many restaurants operating in the area, I imagine it's very quiet there, quiter than usual.
Only stayed in Candidasa for 1 night years ago and it was quite an experience, the power went off about 7pm and left us in pich blackness for the night, fell over something in the early hours of the morning trying to find the bathroom, woke up H and neither of us could get back to sleep so we went and sat in the hotels restaurant on the beach, the night security guy came to see who was out and about, he made us all coffee and we sat and watched as dawn broke, it was beautiful, looking forward to staying for a few days.
