Hmm, first day I went to paddy's bar and then up into the bounty ship thingymagic. Wow pretty cool place. I drank over half a cartons worth at 15krp each. Hmm, some how I ended up bringing a woman back to my room. Nothing memorable when your that pissed and have been up since 5am the following day. Got out of bed at around 4pm, had breakfast at 7pm..damn hangover...
That's two days down.
Went to Ubud the other day, didn't really do to much. Mainly doing some filming with the new camera. Markets then monkey forest etc. Seen the Barong and Keris dance in the morning. Mainly saw it through my cameras view finder though :) got a damn sore arm after an hour..
Did the Bali hai Lembongan cruise today. Threw up the whole way up to the island. Spent over an hour trying to recover on the sundecks. Later managed to gather the strenght to go to the island and eat luch at their 'club'. Got back to the pontoon to do some snorkling. Did the submerched boat thing..still holding onto my gut. he snorkleing and the sumbarine are pretty ordinary. Uncomperable to the Gili's off Lombok.
Still felt sick on the way back although the ocean a lot steadier. A bloke gave me a 'sea sicknes 'magic' massage' One way to let the hour back to Benoa Harbour pass. Gave him 50krp, (he did say half price of hotel).
Lots of russians, japaneas/koreans, locals etc. Not many aussies.
Damn, the end of Legian street thurther from kuta is a like a zoo. in the sense that some of the shop owners are really aggressive, grabbing your arm, ganging up, not letting you pass etc This is really prominent at night. Also everyone in Tuban (where I'm staying), turns into pimps as the sun goes down. Damn I picked up one woman and now it feels as if the word has got around and they won't leave me alone :) Anyhow I'm nearly 'bankrupt' now. Spent way too much on nothing really?? Even had to dip into the credit card..
Went to Bubba gumps. Bought the bucket of boat trash. Not a bad meal; fries were nice. I had a cookie milkshake thingydo. Really nice. With tip I left 150krp. Still fairly good value (service and food).
Had pizza at the Baligardens Hotel. Not bad, but probably overpriced. I think they ran out of pepperoni when I odered my 'pepperoni pizza' not spicy at all. Bought at cocktail drink for 45krp. Hmm, overpriced. Well I'm on holidays so I can try everything once :)
The chicken at 'All American foof' is really good. probably better thean KFC.
Bought a heap of smelly soaps from the supermarket at mataharis..I think they weight 5kg alone :)
Btw the supermarket that used to be below centro has gone bankrupt.. shame as they had these wicket 'battered (kfc style) chicken skins/guts/peices" addictive stuff. I remember the checout chick having a laugh when I bought them last time I was in Bali (nov-oct05).
Ok, well my stomach is starting to growl, sitting in the internet cafe on poppies 1 out the front of Bamboo corner - I like tehir flat screen samsungs.. I did try and find 'Bali cyber cafe' which I drove past the oter day. But to no evail, the driver didn't even know where it was. Well maybe he did , because he kept suggesting a 'global net' place in Seminyak.. I could have sworn I was on Bakunsari or was it Banusari?? when I saw the joint. Doesn't matter.
