I reckon it would be great IF THEY started up again it would be very interesting IF ALL creditors started a class action against them & filed suit against ALL of his other business interests - to get their money back OR free tickets to the value of what they were owed.It HAS been done before!
I DO accept that I have NO understanding of Indonesian law,Accountancy or business matters & that probably all of the other business interests & properties were in his wife or family or other company director's names.Well that is how is works here.For example- Anyone remember the name Allan Bond or Christopher Skase ?
Yeah sure -as IF you'd get a single damn cent back.BUT I still reckons it sucks big time ! Not only big companies he owed money to BUT many of the little people suffered.Many of these people I consider friends who could not afford it.
I may be wrong but in my opinion way but I think way too many people were screwed by AP for Aussies to ever trust them again.I sure would NOT fly again IF I did some research & found out HIS name had anything to do with the company behind the new AP.
Yeah sure - taking the money the very day before you declare yourself bankrupt- that is absolute total BS ! His Accountants would have known months in advance & he would have been warned well in advance.Believe me when I say that I DO know from my working life that a company really does know sometime before when they are getting into the sh-- & can NOT get out of it.It sure ain't JUST the day before.
Sorry IF my post upsets you Bob - BUT this guy really didn't do the right thing.We deal with these sort of matters regularly & there really are better ways to handle things & still be able to hold your head up.I think it's got a bit to do with Karma - what goes around comes around & one of these days he will NOT be a happy chappy.
