very informative report thanks bec. I will be going to Bali in September and wondering where to stay. Is Legian quiet and safe enough but still offers good shopping and food?? Is is far enough out of Kuta to be relatively safe from terrorist threats etc?? Do you still go to Kuta for shopping or is there enough shopping in Legian itself?? I know these sound like silly questions but I don't know much at all and would like to be feel like I have checked it all out before I go.
