Hi Pina,

I had a sari style queen size bed cover made to my specifications last month. It was made using good quality sari fabric down the middle section, then organza type fabric overlaying cotton down the sides to touch the floor. I choose the fabric and colour and discussed the design in the afternoon, left a deposit and picked up the finished product at 10pm.

It was 450 000 rupiah but I did not try to bargain as they were making it an express order. Worked out $65 australian but have just seen similar in Target going for $129.

I can't remember the name of the shop but it was at the start of JL Laksmana on the left hand side and before you get to Syah (?) the painting place.

You should be able to find similar ones elsewhere, and people have written on the forum before about the painted ones so it does depend a bit on what style you are looking for.

Hope this helps you,
Trish
