Hoping to spend a couple of nights at the Rama Cottages or Puri Bagus Hotel in Candi Dasa. After reading a few JBR's it seems that things are extremely quiet in and around Candi Dasa and that the locals are quite desparate, therefore the tourists are feeling a little overwhelmed/uncomfortable when leaving their accommodation and eating in the restaurants etc. Should I wait till things pick up a bit before I go, or risk it and go anyway. Has anyone been there in the last few weeks that can give me up to date advice. Thanks in advance.
