I import to Brisbane. I was there in August last year and then again in February this year. I found that my prices had actually dropped. Not on all things. My suppliers told me when things went up why i.e. fuel cost to transport materials etc and sometimes I got a cheaper price or samples.
It seems only Australians are the only ones holding back and this could possibly be because of the warnings. But we know that anything said about Indonesia does NOT include Bali. By this I mean 'won't let Australians in hotels because of the Papuan refugees'. Most of it is hype by the media. They run the country not the politicans.
