If AA were not making a profit, I gather the introduction of Jetstar will be to save money for Qantas, via not offering, food, drinks, headsets unless a fee is charged.
I cannot see them offering the flights any cheaper than AA is already.
My personal view is they will offer the same price but with no frills unless extra is paid and then the company might make a profit.
How else will just changing who is flying these routes going to produce a profit for the company?
