Stayed at Hard Rock back in 1999. Paid an extra $10 per night and stayed out the back by the VIP pool, Bali was quite during the time we stayed there so we ended up with the VIP pool to ourselves. Cant say we noticed any noise once we were in our room at night (and seeing as it was when about 10 afl players from west coast were there partying on I think that says a lot). We found the place to be pretty commerical (lacked bali feel) however the staff were great, big pool is out of this world. Extremely expensive to eat or drink at resort (way more expensive than other resorts we have stayed at). Why we didnt go back in our other visits to Bali? Well we fell in love with the Kuta Paradiso (just around the bend at the start of Tuban stretch) - outstanding resort and can highly recommend it! Enjoy your stay
