We just spent a week at the hard rock in march, the hotel was at 20% occupancy and they were renovating many of their rooms. We were woken on three occassions with party goers returning to their rooms at various times throughout the night but once they went to their rooms we were undisturbed. We have stayed at the hard rock 4 times and will go again. The position of the hotel is great and convenient to the shops, beach and eateries. We love the pool and the rooms are being renovated which makes them a little more desirable but definately comfortable. Sorry cant comment on the other hotel as havnt been there.
