Have stayed at Sanur every year since 1998. They have a terrific new path way that winds along the beachfront. I took a bike for my youngest son to ride when we were there last time and he used to love riding on the path. he would ride every morning and every night.They have brought sand in to rebuild the beach, it is a safe place for little ones to swim, lots of places to eat and shop and if you need or want to go into kuta just jump in a cab (around 60,000rp due to fuel price increase) but this is still cheap.
We would not stay anywhere else now except for a night here or there.
