Had to laugh when I read your post, since I recognise this situation. As a location, I would suggest Ubud : here you will find the most luxurious resorts / hotels, culture, trendy bars and restaurants, most beautiful landscape & nature, and your best bet to get pampered and feel very special. Within Ubud, you have plenty of such accomodation. My top 3 would be : Uma Ubud, Maya Ubud or Kupu Kupu Barong. None of these are cheap, but check for special deals. A villa in Ubud could also be an option.
