more than 3 months spent in Bali - once at the temple at Lake Bratan, and once in Matahari's in Denpasar. They have some fairly ordinary, not always clean loos in some restaurants, but I've never encountered a squat one. Some of the nicer restaurants have nicer loos than we have at home! Don't worry - if you get caught out just go to a fast food joint, bigger gotel or a restaurant - you'll be fine! It is a ood idea, though to carry loo paper or tissues/wipes if you're travelling outside the tourist areas - you may well encounter them in smaller, less touristy areas. Cheers, Sue.
