We head over on Easter Sunday also.
I asked the same question a while ago, re the easter eggs and chocolate suitability.
Answers much the same as given this time.
What started out as us taking a little has ended up with a mountain of chocolates etc, cadbury roses was one suggestion,apparently they are very much appreciated.
We now also have biscutes in fancy tins,Australian paintings on the lid, I even fancy these my self!
Apparently the tins are quite sort after.
I have purchased a cooler back from "Things", now reduced to $10, so as to keep the chocolate from melting on the trip. Will give this to someone up there when we arrive, I'm sure someone will want it.
If you are interested, you can usually purchase kids easter books, just small paperbacks (like the old Goldenbooks) for a couple of $ in Kmart etc around easter time. Your friends children would probably really like these.
