I arrive in Bali on Easter Sunday and will be staying in Ubud in a bungalow owned by a family that we have got to know quite well over the past 5 years. Wayan & Kadek and there two lovely children about 10 & 12.
Given that the Hindu religion doesn't recognise the Christian Easter and the celebrations that go with it here in Oz do you think it would be thought of badly to take them some chocolate eggs (my son suggested the cream filled ones 'cos he said that would really freak them out!) or would it be a novelty. I don't even know if Balinese like chocolate.
Any thoughts?
Cheers,
David
