someone states the obvious. Most if not all of us know what the limit is. Yet some blatantly CHOOSE to ignore it then have the gall to lie, bribe, cheat and connive in an effort to buck the system. If this fails they have the audacity to whinge about paying excess. Holy sh*t people, if you get busted, cop it sweet and cough up, it was your decision to go overweight. Whether the limits are fair or not is debatable but they are in place for a reason and I for one have no problem with them being enforced especially with regards to hand luggage. Hand luggage weights and size are there to ensure the safety and comfort of passengers travelling in the aircraft cabin. I take great offence at MY comfort and safety being compromised by these idiots who think it OK to carry everything but the kitchen sink as hand luggage. The next person who drops their 15+ kilo cabin bag on my lap ( and yes it has happened ) is in for a rude shock I can assure you.
