yes yhey do have a buffer zone somewhere between 2 to 3 tonnes but this is affected by things like weather/ fuel load /they dont always fly full of fuel/amount of passengers /head.tail winds/ inbound cargo/
etc etc etc so an extra 5kgs x 180 odd passengers = 900 kgs go figure i weigh 120 kgs but have never brought back more than 20 kgs
