We flew out of Bali on the 25th March. We ended up having about 25kg's each spread over the 2 adults and 2 kids. They ttried to get us to pay excess (20kg is the stated max), but we jacked up and they let us off. Not sure how old the kids have to be to get the full allowance, but I think its only a problem if you have the really young ons on board (where they sit in your lap)
