ooops my apologies for not being exact with my comments,I am new to all this,didn't realise people held you to EVERY word you say.
As a matter of fact she spent much more than that ....and the taxi driver DID turn the meter off!!
I too only tip if I have received good service,as I said we don't go there to throw our money away...but geez have a heart.
I have seen ozzies who have embarassed me and made me ashamed to be an Australian with the way they treat these people...in their own country no less...we wouldn't tolerate it if someone came here and did it to us.
