We bought some silver jewellry and other jewellry in Ubud, can't comment too much on the quality because I am not much of an expert in that area but we did find that the prices seemed cheaper in Ubud, that is initial prices. I don't like to bargain super hard though, too much work!!
I found that where we looked, there was a bigger range in Ubud, but others may be able to give more info here.
