The unusual thing is that the Indonesian government seems to be in 2 minds about enforcing these internationally established requirements. The reports in Kompas newspaper are downright ambiguous about whether or not they have or have not pulled the plug on AP. On one hand the govt. does not want to deliver the coup de grace to AP but on the other hand if they finish off AP it must have a positive impact on Garuda who are in a difficult position.
