Bali Airport

Can anyone tell me approx how long it takes to clear the airport after landing? I haven't been to to Bali since they introduced the Visa on Arrival & wondered if it is a quick or long process.
Is it better to bring 25USD from home to pay for it?
Also, can anyone tell me where in the airport I can buy Periplus' Bali Street Maps book?
