Hi I took 2 boards on garuda a few years back and didn't get charged any extra from memory, mind you I had very little other luggage probably a lot less than many other "shoppping tourists". But since then I have more than made up for that with an amazing shopping trip with my lovely wife!!Not sure if this helps or hinders cheers grant
