returned six weeks ago, lived in bali for 16 months. I originally went on six m onths social/cultural visa, was sponsored by balinese friend, then through Bali Mode in Kuta/Legian, behind peanuts, who handle all my visa requirements, went to Singapore for a 12 months multiple entry business visa, this was ALL LEGAL, I have no idea which company sponsored me but I had to fly to Singapore via Jakarta and back in one day, met the agent at the Indonesian Consulate in Singapore, came back to him in 3 hours,he gave me new visa , then hopped on plane to come home (Bali) (with 25 Hungry Jacks for my boxers!!) This visa means I do not have to pay the entry tax any time I enter Bali in the next twelve months, get two months free, then 500,000 rp per month and visa restamped till the 12 months finished. If I leave the country and re-enter at any time, I still get another two months free.
The Australian Interntional school is excellent and runs on the NSW/ACT system. Happy to answer any further questions. My villa in secure compound on Kuta/Legian border 4.500,000 per month, with maid for two hours, and beautiful gardens, deer roaming and popping into my kitchen if I left door open!)and pool, walking distance to beach and five villas there, jungle like existence with so much security, the owner who lives there as well. Very poweful man in Indonesia. contact me if needed. Go for it and enjoy
