I don't know where in Perth you live but if you are north of the river you might want to contact Tueart College about Indonesian lessons. It's just conversation not at all scary and the teacher is an absolute gem. I've been going there since level 2 but I gather from my friends that did level 1 that it is very easy and no pressure at all. I think it is less formal and grammar oriented than TAFE. If you are south of the river I think Badak Belig who posts here would be able to steer you in the right direction. Knowing a bit of Bahasa Indonesian would be such fun for you and would surely meet with Ketut's approval. You also pick up bits and pieces of Indonesian culture and manners etc from Ibu Jenny along the way. It has made a huge difference to my whole experience of Bali.
