Heard this as well. My thoughts are that while there is corruption in bali the airport will never be really secure. As the saying goes money talks. If someone wants to get bombs on a plane or in the terminal it would not be difficult at all.
On the other hand no one wants like in United States where if you are not a US citizen you go to a diffrent line and just about undress before you pass secuirty and that includes having shoes xrayed, wiped for explosives and padded down. This happened every time i got on a plane on a recent trip.
My last thought why is Bali in the news so much. Do both the US and Australian governments have some type of agenda? Is there something going on we dont know about? Seems like Bali is coping a right bashing at the moment.
