"When will we ever learn that the territories of other societies need to be respected and the decisions they make according to their own cultural traditions are their business and not ours?"

For example, I don't care what country it is, when it's human rights abuse issues, and animal welfare, I consider it my business and I completely disrespect their right to do it because of 'cultural traditions' and 'territories.'
As for the carpark, personally I have no problem with it, but what I do have a problem with is no consideration given to the victim's families outside of Bali by asking them how they felt about a carpark being put there and if they didn't like it to at least be invited to work with the Balinese in finding a good compromise that works for everyone.
