Wife and I have stayed at the Peninsula 5 times and it is superb. Shopping not too far away up the road. Has changed somewhat since first bombing and we havent been there for 3 years. Have a really good friend at hotel who would answer any questions you have about the area. She works on the front counter and her name is Putu.
