Just wondering if any of people on this forum have tried the Crown Restaurant in Legian st, its owned by a lady named Diane from Perth and manager Wayan. I go there all the time and Diane is wonderful and very helpful to anyone that goes there i have seen her save many first timers to bali (with money changers etc) Its down near peanuts night club on the same side of the road near jungle surf.
Dont know if im really allowed to promote this restaurant but diane has now survived 2 bombings and everything else that has happened in bali and still maintains a full staff hasnt put anyone off during these really tough times. The staff are really lovely people and most of them have young families and they are like family to Diane.
The food is good, drinks great and atmosphere very relaxed, Diane always wanders over and has a chat to most of her customers, So im hoping if anyone is in bali and not sure of somewhere to stop and have a drink or something to eat call in and meet Diane and Wayan and staff im sure you will be happy and make some good friends as well.
