What I said to somebody else was go out in the day time, make lunch your main "eating out" meal. Have a beer/soft drink on the beach around sunset and let your little girl play on the beach then head back to the security of your hotel and eat by the pool while she has a moonlight swim, or in the restaurant or if dhe's tired have room service on your balcony. You can still have a good time and minimise you fears, which is reasonable, at the same time. Lets face it most kids just love the hotel, food and you have to prize them away from the pool.
