they are all lined up down Jl Legian. You can vote for your favourite. From Bemo carner if you head away from the beach there was an entertaining area set up. This was the best place as all the ogoh ogohs stopped here and paraded. The officials sit in an erected stand here. Personally I though Kuta was VERY crowded and if going again at that time I would consider going somewhere else.
The week before Nyepi we drove around Bali and found the ogoh ogahs being built in the villages. That was very interesting.
It's a great thing to see. Even some of the kids made a little one. Soo cute.
Most shops closed by mid afetenoon but a few restaurants stayed open in Kuta.
