one you go for. Haven't stayed at the Mandira, but heard good reports. Just got back from 7 nights at the Padma and loved every minute of it. Beautiful gardens, lovely staff, good food and at the moment it is quiet so the pool isn't too busy. From what I hear, both hotels have lots going for them, so the odds are in your favour. If you end up at the Padma and opt for the garden club package, the staff there will treat you like a king/queen, particularly during cocktail hour. Enjoy your trip
