After months of reading all this great info I am down to a couple final decision...so any feedback is most welcome. I have read the posts in the archives but still want to ask..
1. Padma vs Mandira hotel for our last 2 nights after 3 weeks of travelling around Bali. I want something beautiful, not feeling too big and cold, friendly staff...both sound great but I am leaning towards Mandira and then visiting Padma to see the gardens...is the landscape beautiful around Mandira, which cottages are the best etc...same with Padma..
2. Tjuamphuan hotel...we stayed there last year and loved it...Rex if you are still on this please send the rooms you recommend to stay in..we want to be down by the pool. and river...Also should we book this online ahead or just show up...I see the prices are better for all hotels online through some agencies...asia rooms, bali discovery....
3. We are so disappointed that Zen Lifestyle doesn't have their wonderful managers any longer so won't be going back. We want to spend a couple nights in Pemuteran so any recommendations of favorites there would be great.
4. Sacred Mountain Sanctuary..we stayed there last year in Sideman and want to go back to the area but stay somewhere else..any ideas?
5. Lombok and Gilis...we plan to spend 5-7 days between the 2. Should I book ahead of time on line or will these places not be too busy and can do it there...so issue is availability and price...do it there or online. Have an idea of when going but not how long in each place as may like Lombok more or Gilis more..thinking of 1-2 days Lombok then over to Gilis...
