"Give the man a break please! he is a Travel Agent selling air tickets and holidays. What else could he do?."
That's right he is a travel agent and he has a duty to the paying public not to mislead them. His strong support for Air Paradise and dismissal of rumours they were going bust probably contributed to people making the decision to book. Those people have now lost their hard-earned money. How about giving them a break?
What else could he do? He could have kept his mouth closed and not given AP such strong support when he was in no position to know whether they were really in financial trouble. Call me cynical, but as a travel agent I would say he was trying to make sure the bookings kept coming in, not protecting the interests of joe public.
