I've seen several posts lately about the pros & cons of credit cards, debit cards & cash. Why not take travellers cheques in Aussie $ as well as cash? Don't have to worry about losing the TCs, as they are readily replaced, no worries about a machine eating your card nor about credit card scams. I took cash (which I used first) & Aussie$TCs in Sept and was glad of the peace of mind, for the small cost involved. Easily exchanged, no wucking furries. And if not spent, ready for the next trip or easily converted to cash here. Easy peasy. Just a thought.
