DAY 1
Left Sydney with AP we were one of 4 families flying and staying together for the next 14 days at Rama Beach Resort and Spa.In total we are a party of 8 Adults and 7 teenagers
Left our car at Sydney Air Park cost $130 for undercover parking.
First problem was that the night before we left I had been photocopying the tickets. When we got to checkin I realised I had left the kids tickets sitting on the machine. Lucky I had the copies so for the cost of $110 each they reissued them, so that was the end of hubbys upgrade on the way home.
The Flight was great, plenty of food and drink. I thought the food was much better than Garuda.
No problems with VOA paid in Au and got change in Rp enough to pay for the taxi to Rama Beach. 25000rp
Customs did look through all the boxes of things that we took over for the orphanages and the schools, but they did tape all the boxes up again which surprised me.
When we reached Rama we are greeted with a welcome drink and the usual paperwork to fill in. Then we were told that because we are special clients we have been upgraded to a Villa.Not sure what qualified us as special clients but we wern't complaining.
2 families were given Delux rooms and 1 A Garden Cottage. Everyone was very happy. The villas have DVD players so the other kids made use of our kids villa at night to watch the newly acquired DVDS.
The Costs for dinner are for 4 persons unless stated and will include a few large Bintangs and Soft Drinks and Juices, most nights our meals would be 2 courses.
All costs for dinners include a tip except for one, which I will tell you about later. I think Day 7
Dinner: Mini in Tuban cost 340,000rp.
Butter Chicken , Pork Spare Ribs, Seafood Basket, Spring Rolls x 2, 2 large Bintangs and 3 soft drinks.
Day 2
Off to Makro to stock up on Bintang and the likes. Case Large Bintang 16 bottles 122,000
Then back to the Art Market, we did a lot of shopping here.
Bought Billabong Tee's 30,000 each
12 pairs nike ankle socks 40,000
Dinner was at the Pub tonight and they serve the best beef satays 35,000
Total for dinner tonight including a few Bintangs and some soft drinks was 150,000
Day 3
Bali Adventure Elephant Park Ayung.
Adult $49AU Child $37AU including a 40min ride and lunch.That was booked through Mary at Rama Beach.
It was great I would really recommend it.Next year it will be even better. This is a new park and they still have more attractions to add.They are in the process of building an Island that will house Gorillas.We used our driver Wayan (Mr Lick) to take us there and that cost us 50,000 per family.
Shopping: More billabong tee's 30,000, shell necklaces 10,000 each and bracelets 5,000 each
Dinner: Green Garden not sure what was had but its always good cost 168,000.
Day 4
First thing this morning I took some washing to the laundry in the lane behind the hotel 18 pieces 18,000 and they smell divine.
Next stop Geneva

Dinner: Appetite at Palm Cove. Food was terrible everything was dried out no flavour, they only had one person working on the floor. He told us that the restaurant had changed hands since last year. We ate here several times last year and it was fabulous. Won't be going back to this one. Cost 212,750.
