Some of our friends just checked in at MBR and were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade from Superior to Suite. They were told that if you book a standard you will upgrade to a superior, superior to suite, suite to a renovated suite plus a bunch of freebies. They were told that the upgrades are based on available rooms at check in. Friends said right now not a problem as MBR is quiet so I guess it depends on when you are planning to go.
