I stayed at the Padma in May for 10 days and although it was really nice, and the pool is fantastic, and the grounds beautiful, I really loved the look of the Mandira, which is only next door. A bit smaller and a bit more personal, whereas the Padma is huge. Still great location on the beach, two nice pools (one is one of those endless ones), a really nice garden and eating area that backs onto the beach. Had a look in a couple of the rooms and they looked nice - about same standard as Padma I think, but bathrooms not as big. If I was going again, I think I would choose the Mandira this time, and, if this makes any difference, I'm pretty fussy about where I stay, and Mandira looks great. Both are in an awesome location - out the front door to Legians great restaurants and shopping. You'll love either.
