I am not sure if you are staying at the Kuta Melasti or the Legion Melasti. I personally take travellers checks.There is a bit of a fee on purchase but I feel safer with them than taking cash. I change mine at the Matahari Dept Store money change desk in Kuta. If I have any left its incentive to put them aside for my next trip to Bali ( or you can use them in Oz when you return)
