It takes about a month (one week in-class, the rest online) to do the course and costs about $1600. I went through Teach International. Global TESOL also run courses.
Plenty of jobs for English teachers all through Asia. The pay's not great in Indonesia, but enough to live on. I did see an ad for a nicely paid job in Bali, but it's for someone with more experience. Usually the pay in Bali is crap because so many people want to go there.
