There are thousands of jobs going all over China, coz they've got the Olympics coming up. The big money's in the Middle East. Japan and Taiwan have nice big salaries too, but the cost of living is much higher.

While the pay in Indonesia isn't high by western standards, you usually get free (usually shared) accommodation. And it is probably close to ten times what the local teachers get. But the best thing is that you get to hang out in Indonesia for a whole year instead of having to go home just when you're getting used to it. Whoo-hoo.

Oh, yeh... and teaching is great fun. Dunno why I didn't do this years ago.
